Rainy day

Well I worked the weekend, including my birthday. Today I have the day off and its raining- oh well I guess we need the rain. Today I have been keeping busy scrapbooking. Sorry about the glare.

Finally its spring

What a beautiful weekend- finally! We are very excited, Alex tried out for baseball (farm league) and he made it. He may be small but he packs a powerful punch. He hits the ball with so much power and force, it even shocks him. He has the hitting down but needs to practice catching, (he is slightly afraid of getting hit by the ball). He is looking forward to his first practice tomorrow and finding out if any of his friends are on his team. This weekend we took some time out to get a little fun practice in and enjoy some outdoor weather.

Where is the sun? The weather man said we would have sun today? I was actually looking forward to yard work! Ventured outside for a little while and tried to rake and pick up fallen branches, but it started to drizzle and the ground was to wet. So again we are forced inside. I will say that bad days are good times to get inside projects done. My husband has been busy prepping the kitchen ceiling for painting, My 7 year old finally cleaned his train table... and me well I finally did some scrapbooking of some pictures from last summer. So I guess a dismal day was not so dismal. ( the picture is from last summer, just a reminder better weather is on its way, I hope).
